Sherry K. Pickett
Dr. Sherry Pickett was born and raised in Kirkwood, Missouri. She received her Bachelor of Science in 1993 from Southwest Missouri State University, followed by her Master’s of Audiology degree from Washington University in1995. In 2010, she received her Doctorate of Audiology degree from A.T. Still University.
Dr. Pickett has worked in a variety of clinical settings, including both hearing aid dispensing and Ear, Nose, and Throat physician offices, since beginning her career in 1995. She is pleased to once again be working in a private audiology practice. With Greentree since Fall, 2014, Sherry is excited to now have the opportunity to give patients what they most deserve: hearing solutions provided in a compassionate, relaxed and professional setting. Sherry enjoys having the time to develop close relationships with each and every patient as she helps them develop better communication strategies to live a fuller life.
When not working, Sherry enjoys reading and spending time with her husband and business partner, Russ. They have a 10 year old daughter, Olivia. As a family, they love traveling, boating, and outdoor activities, particularly at their northern Minnesota vacation cabin.
Russell W. Pickett
Dr. Russ Pickett was born and raised in Davenport, Iowa. After serving 4 years in the U.S. Air Force, he attended Illinois State University where he received both his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Audiology. He continued his education at A.T. Still University where he received his Au.D. (Doctor of Audiology) degree.
He has spent his 25 year career focused on assisting those with hearing difficulties through the use of hearing aids, listening strategies, assistive devices and counseling.
Dr. Pickett enjoys golf, fishing, and spending time with his family. He is interested in WWII and general aviation activities, in fact he has his private pilot’s license.
Dr. Pickett makes his home in Kirkwood, MO with his wife Dr. Sherry Pickett (also an Audiologist) and ten year-old daughter Olivia. They enjoy the companionship of Lillie, their Basset Hound.
John T. Scarlas
John Scarlas was born in Tampa, Florida and raised in Beckley, West Virginia. He received his Bachelor of Science from West Virginia University in 1995, and he received his Master’s degree in Audiology from Towson University in 1997.
John moved to St. Louis in 1997 and has been dedicated to helping people communicate better with family and friends ever since. John has worked in a variety of clinical settings as well as having the experience of working for a major manufacturer. John is excited to be back in a private practice where the patient always comes first.
John enjoys exercise, golf, and cheering on his son at swim meets. He makes his home in Ballwin with his wife, Christian, and his 14-year-old son, Austin.
Tricia Laney was born, raised, and currently lives in Kirkwood, MO. She is a proud graduate of Kirkwood High School and an active member in the Kirkwood community.
She has a degree in Child Development and spent 6 fun-filled years teaching preschool. After managing an office and working in sales for the last 10 years, she came on board with Greentree Audiology in March 2013.
Tricia enjoys reading, riding horses, crafts (specifically jewelry-making, greeting cards, and wood carving), and spending time with friends and family.
